2. Service

Shared Stock Linker is a Shopify app that helps merchants synchronize inventory across linked product variants that represent the same physical stock.

The app may provide features such as:

  • stock group creation and management
  • inventory synchronization across linked variants
  • drift detection and reconciliation workflows
  • operational logs related to synchronization events

3. Merchant responsibilities

Merchant is responsible for:

  • configuring the app correctly
  • reviewing the app's settings and group mappings before enabling sync
  • maintaining the accuracy of product, variant, and inventory configuration in Shopify
  • reviewing logs and reconciliation prompts when drift or ambiguity occurs
  • complying with all applicable laws and merchant obligations to customers

4. Data processing

To provide the service, Provider may process store, order, refund, inventory, and app-installation data made available through Shopify.

Provider will process such data only as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the app's functionality
  • maintain security and reliability
  • diagnose errors and support merchants
  • comply with legal obligations

Provider does not sell merchant or customer personal data.

5. Data minimization

Provider will seek to limit processing to the minimum data required for the app's core functionality.

6. Security

Provider will use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service and the data processed.

7. Retention and deletion

Provider may retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support merchants, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce these terms.

Provider maintains internal retention practices intended to avoid storing personal data longer than necessary.

8. Availability and beta-state caution

Merchant acknowledges that inventory synchronization software can be operationally sensitive.

Provider may classify parts of the app as beta, preview, or limited-release functionality. Merchant should use appropriate care when testing or enabling the app on live inventory.

9. No guarantee of error-free operation

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Provider's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the app will not exceed the amounts paid by Merchant to Provider for the app during the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if no fees were paid.

11. Suspension and termination

Provider may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or material breach of these terms.

Merchant may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Changes

Provider may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, excluding conflict-of-laws rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
